Young Arab Leaders (YAL) is an independent, not for-profit organization, founded in 2004 at the World Economic Forum in The Dead Sea under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. YAL aims to build on the capabilities, skills and the power of their regional network to create positive change in the Arab world by providing the Arab youth with channels to tackle the challenges of unemployment through empowering them with the right education and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship amongst them.

YAL is driven by the mission to educate and empower the next generation of leaders in the Arab World by turning innovative business ideas into a reality.
